Bicycles

The moment I see vintage space themed Lego building bricks, I am instantly transported back to my childhood building spaceships in the living room of my best friend Stephen's home. While rebuilding old Specialized mountain bikes doesn't bring me back quite that far, there is a certain nostalgia to them that I can't quite pinpoint. There is a beautiful simplicity to rigid frame mountain bikes before the modern age of full suspensions, hydraulic disc brakes, and a variety of other components that require much more than basic tools to work on. Represented here are some of the bikes I have brought back to life and passed on to others while getting a kick out of tinkering with them in the process.
